Achievements

From a first mandate to a permanent platform.

During its first mandate (2022–2026), the Chair consolidated its scientific foundations by welcoming more than 200 students from the MENA region, promoting women’s participation in doctoral education, and developing flagship tools and projects such as TEEG and INSAF-FEM. Over the 2027–2031 term, its strategic vision moves beyond an experimental phase towards a permanent, integrated platform for teaching, applied research, policy learning and capacity building, fully aligned with UNESCO’s Medium-Term Strategy and the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development.

Line of action

From beneficiaries to protagonists.

The Chair’s activities pursue a specific line of action: transforming stakeholders from mere beneficiaries into active participants in the co-design, delivery and governance of the Chair’s activities, thereby ensuring that the competences developed through its previous initiatives remain embedded within partner institutions.
